What students will learn and achieve in the training
In the training you will acquire a deep understanding of
systemic dynamics in families, in groups and in society and you will learn to
See the training program for details.
After the Basic Training, students who already had counseling skills to begin with, and who have learned enough in the Basic Training, will be able to introduce family constellations in their work with their clients. In particular, they will be able to use simple constellations to help the people they work with (clients, patients, pupils and their parents) to better understand themselves and their family. They will also be able to restore systemic order in families, where children carry burdens for their parents. These simple constellations are already helpful for clients, and may be a valuable addition to individual therapy/counseling. For those students who do not yet have counseling skills, the Basic Training will enable them to apply systemic concepts when working with individuals or groups. They will develop their counseling skills in the Intermediate Training.
In the Intermediate Training, skills (including counseling skills) are further developed, which will enable students to work with more complex family issues. The more you understand the dynamics in a system (the pattern of interactions, roles and behaviors), the more you will be able to support people in your field of work. You will also have learned to recognize many systemic dynamics, which will help you to find solutions. For example, when working with difficult children, you will know how to work with the parents to find the dynamic that is causing the difficult behavior, and to find a possible resolution.
In the Advanced Training, you will deepen your skills to create safety and stability to hold the most intense issues. In this final level of training, the trainers will work individually with all students to help them to integrate inner attitudes and qualities that are needed to work with the most challenging issues and clients. The more you embody these qualities, the more you will be able to work, for example, with families where there was extreme violence, or clients who carry intense guilt because of this violence. You may work with clients who have anger problems or clients who suffer from strong anxiety and fear.
