What you need to know before registering

To register for the Intermediate Family Constellation Training 2021, you need to agree to the following conditions. By check-marking your agreement, you are bound by those conditions. Therefore, before you submit this registration form, you are expected to carefully read and understand the conditions below.

A.   Payment

Registering for the Intermediate Family Constellation Training 2021 by submitting the form, is equivalent to a purchase: it makes the payment of the participation fee obligatory, and the following conditions apply.

A–1.   Regular payment

After submitting your registration, the payment of the full participation fee must be made at the latest 30 days before the start of the training, so at the latest on 03-Jun-2021. Since you submit your registration after 03-Jun-2021 your payment must be made at the latest on 02-Jul-2021.

A–2.   Payment spread over time

It is possible to spread the payment for the training over time. Please prepare a proposal for a schedule of your payments, with paying dates and amounts. Then send it to us by e-mail as soon as possible.

Be aware, that the first payment must be made at the latest on 02-Jul-2021 and that the full fee must have been paid before the start of the third block of the training (19-Mar-2022). Also be aware, that if you would cancel or discontinue your participation on, or after the first training date, you would still have to complete the full payment schedule.

Only if we let you know in writing, by e-mail, that we agree to your proposed payment schedule, it will be a valid agreement between us.

A–3.   If your payment is late

Only after we receive your full payment (or your first payment if we agreed to a spread payment schedule) your place in the training will be reserved. If your payment is late, we will remind you by e-mail to make the payment. If your payment then is not made within three days, other applicants that are on the waiting list may be admitted to the training before you.

B.   Waiting list

The maximum number of participants for this training is 25. In the event that the training for which you registered is already full, we will inform you, and you will be placed on the waiting list at the moment that we have received your payment. The date of submission of your registration determines your place on the waiting list. If at the start of the training no place has become available for you, then we will refund your full payment. In that case we will consult with you about a possible later participation.

C.   Cancellation policy

C–1.   Cooling-off period

Starting from the moment when you submit your registration, there is a two week cooling-off period, during which you may cancel without paying any (cancellation or participation) fee. Any payments made will be refunded. At the moment of your registration the time left until the training was less than two weeks. The last day of the cooling-off period is 02-Jul-2021. After that a cancellation fee applies.

C–2.   Canceling after the training starts

If you cancel your participation on or after the start date of the training (03-Jul-2021), or if you decide to discontinue your participation during the training, then there will be no refund and you will have to fulfill your payment obligations. In case we agreed to a spread payment schedule, you will still have to complete your payments fully.

C–3.   If you find someone to take your place

If you cancel your participation and find someone else who wants to participate instead of you and we agree to his or her participation, then you may cancel without costs.

C–4.   Someone from the waiting list can take your place

If you cancel before 03-Jul-2021, you may cancel without paying any (cancellation or participation) fee.

C–5.   If nobody can take your place

If you cancel before 03-Jul-2021, you may cancel without paying any (cancellation or participation) fee.

C–6.   Refunding

If you have already paid when you cancel, then we will refund your payment, under deduction of the cancellation costs, after the start of the training.

C–7.   Exceptions

In special circumstances we may make an exception to this Cancellation Policy.

D.   If the training is canceled or postponed

D–1.   In case the training is canceled

In case the training is canceled by us before the start of the training, we will refund your full payment. If we cancel after the first block of the training and before the second block, then we will refund ⅔ of your payment. If we cancel after the second block of the training and before the third block, then we will refund ⅓ of your payment.

D–2.   In case the training is postponed

33 Days before the start of the training, so on 31-May-2021, we will inform participants who have registered, whether the training will take place as planned or whether it will be postponed. If on 31-May-2021 less than the required minimum number of 12 participants have registered for the Intermediate Family Constellation Training 2021, then the start of the training will be postponed until the start date of the second block, which is 06-Nov-2021. In case still not enough participants have registered, we will consult 33 days before the start of the second block, so on 04-Oct-2021 with the participants who have registered about what we should do.

In case the training is postponed, participants can decide to wait until the later start of the training, or they can step out from the training and get a full refund of their payments.

E.   Working on your personal issue

As a student you are expected to sometimes bring authentic personal issues that will be used in the training for learning: other students may facilitate (parts of) constellations for your issue. Also the teachers may work on your issue only to demonstrate some procedure. The purpose of such constellation work is not to resolve your issue — although that might happen. The training is not meant to resolve personal issues. Instead, the purpose of such work is to enable students to learn. Therefore, the constellations might be left incomplete, issues might remain unresolved. As a participant you consent to that and you are expected to be willing to bring authentic personal issues anyway.

F.   Recording

No video recording and no audio recording is allowed. No photos may be taken during the training, except photos of the whiteboard. Otherwise, only taking notes is allowed. Such notes and photos of the whiteboard may only be shared with other students. They may not be shared with any other people.

G.   Privacy policy

The following conditions adhere to privacy law.

The students are bound by these conditions during and also after the training.

G–1.   Protect the privacy of other students

During the training students are likely to disclose information about themselves and their family. In particular, students are expected to present personal issues in the training. Students are required to protect the privacy of other students and their family, therefore no information about an other student and their family may be disclosed or shared with anyone, without the explicit consent of that student. Such information may only be shared among the students in the same training group.

G–2.   Protect the privacy of trainers' clients.

Students may obtain information about clients of the trainers, e.g., when they are present in public workshops of the trainers. Students will not disclose or share any information about the clients of the trainers. Such information may only be shared among the students in the same training group.

G–3.   Sharing your own experience

Students are allowed to (publicly) share their own experiences that they had during the training and in the public workshops of the trainers, however, only in such a way that no information about other students or clients is exposed. When students describe cases or issues (e.g., to give context to their experience), they should generalize the information in such a way, that not even close friends of the person(s) whose issue(s) or case(s) are described, would recognize the person(s) involved. Not even when these close friends know that their friend is in the same training, or participated in a workshop of the trainers.

G–4.   The trainers will protect the privacy of students.

The trainers respect the privacy of students and will not share any information about the students with third parties, such as the information that the student supplied for their registration, or personal information about the student and his family that the student discloses to us.

Disagreement with these conditions

If you disagree with these conditions of participation, then you must inform us at the latest on 02-Jul-2021 by e-mail that you want to cancel your participation. In that case you will not be required to pay any cancellation or participation fee. If you do not inform us at the latest on 02-Jul-2021 of your disagreement, then you have accepted these conditions and your registration is firm.

Register for this training

Note: After your registration we will contact you to schedule the admission interview. This interview will be held in Japanese. We will conduct this interview via Skype, if possible. If you cannot use Skype, we will use a cheap telephone connection between the Netherlands and Japan.
